AI regulation in the United States is fragmented across 50 states and DC. I built the Portal to make it comparable.
The platform structures 207 state AI laws into 332 comparable provisions across 51 jurisdictions, enabling side-by-side analysis of regulatory approaches, implementation timelines, and governance models. I built it end-to-end, including the research methodology, taxonomy, data pipeline, and deployment.
Legislators are being asked to govern AI without a clear view of how peer jurisdictions are approaching the same challenges.
As a CORDA Democracy Fellow, I designed and structured the governance dataset behind a comparative analysis of AI policy across 28 countries, covering enacted laws, pending legislation, and national strategies.
Earlier work
Before building AI tools, I spent nearly a decade at Booz Allen and Deloitte helping federal agencies translate legislation, policy, and technology initiatives into operational programs.
