Hi, I'm Rishonda

I spent nine years across Booz Allen and Deloitte helping federal agencies establish and deliver policy and technology programs related to the ACA, COVID response, Tax Reform, and Postal Reform. My teams helped the federal government build the capacity to meet Congressional deadlines and respond quickly to changing presidential priorities.

In addition to client work, I supported a Deloitte partner in a chief of staff capacity, supporting the day-to-day operations of a small account as it grew from 30 FTEs to more than 100. I also worked with Deloitte's talent team on internal priorities, creating and leading programs that onboarded, mentored, upskilled, and retained new consultants.

Why AI, why now?

My interest in AI emerged as my Deloitte work focused more on technology adoption. I started with a basic prompt engineering course, then enrolled in the firm's AI Academy on the data science track, learning Python, SQL, and LLM APIs, and gaining familiarity with Hugging Face and LangChain.

Since leaving Deloitte, I've completed three BlueDot Impact courses (AGI Strategy, Frontier AI Governance, Technical AI Safety) and the Special Competitive Studies Project's AI in National Security course. I'm also a member of Consultants for Impact and SuccessIf, and a BreakLine Fellow. This spring, as a CORDA Democracy Fellow, I built the dataset behind the Global AI Governance Knowledge Commons.
